AMD warned! Install this update against giant vulnerability

AMD has revealed a major security vulnerability affecting hundreds of millions of its processors dating back to 2006. The vulnerability, dubbed Sinkhole, allows hackers to infiltrate systems and work surreptitiously. AMD also said it would not provide updates to some processors.

AMD stated that the Sinkhole vulnerability is difficult to exploit and can be used by specific hacker groups in targeted attacks. Therefore, it claimed that individual users are not at high risk. However, due to the high number of affected processors, AMD will bypass some models.

AMD stated that it will defend its corporate customers at the highest possible level. In this context, it has provided updates to new models, including EPYC server chips and new Ryzen desktop and laptop processors.
